The area around the Republic Square with the Municipal House is the historical heart of Prague with access to many interesting historic sight, stores, galleries and restaurants within steps of there. It is superbly located just next to the Powder Tower, medieval gate of entry to Prague, where remarkable King’s Road starts. This road leads directly to the Prague castle and in medieval times it was the only road served for King’s retinue.
