A historical burgher house situated in the centre of the city, close to the Prague Castle. The first historical written record of the building dates back to the 15th century. The preserved basement rooms are from the Gothic period. Renaissance is represented by the painted beam ceilings while the entrance portal provides evidence of the Baroque reconstruction. The last style which is apparent at the house gable, for instance, is Classicsm. All the historical elements are truly restored. The house facade is particularly unique being connected with the 17th centurys famous painter of altar pictures Petr Brandl who was born in this house and lived here.
